Tamar Valley
The Tamar Valley is situated in the north of Tasmania and has a classic cool climate, perfectly suited to growing super premium Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. The Tamar River provides the heartbeat of the region with vineyards situated on the gentle slopes predominately to the east and south of the river. As one of the purest environments in the world, its fresh, clean air and unique vineyard sites mean it is one of the great wine growing regions of the world.
North Tamar Valley
Tony and Markus have been growing fruit in the Tamar Valley for over 20 years. The vineyard, in the northern Tamar is located on a high rise above the beautiful Tamar River. The vineyard has a stunning northerly aspect and its deep, grey sand delivers pristine fruit with vibrant acidity.
Planted to well established Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, this fruit provides the backbone to our sparkling wines and our still Chardonnay.
South Tamar Valley
Our Pinot Noir is sourced from a family owned vineyard south of Launceston. The 20 year old vines are planted in alluvial clay on an even north east facing slope, delivering pristine Pinot Noir grapes that are perfumed with red berry fruit characteristics and delicate spiciness.
